But, under New York law, you can seal some criminal convictions.

We are not legal counselors or non-for-profit, instead we are a small group of unpaid volunteers that know what it’s like to see people regardless of age make mistakes based on spare of the moment bad decisions or poverty-stricken situations. This possibly comes from a lack of proper guardians in the home providing support mentally, physically and even financially.
After having 12 States in America so far passed the Clean Slate Act, we have seen that although this is a much-needed bill that has come into effect, many people have no idea it even exists. Most people, even when finding out, do not know where to turn to for help due to a lack of information and guidance.
This Stems from language barriers, lack of guidance of where to go and what to do, finances when trying to obtain much needed paperwork, we are trying to help people get their lives Moving forward now instead of years from now.
Lawyers have seen first-hand the pushback that’s involved when trying to help others and when approaching Judges in the courts. That’s when we decided to provide people with a place to obtain information on this law starting with New York, on what they need to do to avoid years of waiting and dancing around dead ends and take to get back their lives and pick up the pieces.
We are here to assist people in finding out where to go and what to do, and with possible donations that may come we will assist people that request it based on those donations. This will come in the form of helping people obtain records and hopefully one day aid individuals in getting documents printed and assisting with transportation and eventually assisting with legal fees.
